    Founded in 2016, Pitney Meadows Community Farm in Saratoga Springs spans 166 acres dedicated to agricultural education, healthy food production, community connection, and recreation. Preserved as a working farm, we focus on sustainable, regenerative farming, community engagement, and environmental stewardship. Our vision is to operate an organic farm using sustainable methods to improve yield and enhance soil fertility while providing fresh, organic produce to the local community. With a steadfast commitment to food sovereignty, we partner with many local organizations and community centers to offer multi-faceted programming and initiatives to work towards a more resilient local food system for our community. We offer year-round programs on agriculture, conservation, and nutrition, the arts, and much more. By preserving wildlife areas and agricultural viewsheds, practicing sustainable farming, and encouraging community participation and involvement, we aim to enhance local food security and foster community collaboration and volunteerism.

    Saratoga Children’s Literacy League (SCLL) is a non-profit organization created by Erin Smith and Debra Nicastro. SCLL serves the children of Saratoga County by providing them with free books regardless of income level. The goal is to support the growth of children’s home libraries to build a culture of reading for enjoyment AND to promote academic and personal growth. SCLL volunteers refurbish donated books to make them like new.

    The Saratoga Immigration Coalition, a network of civic groups, faith communities and concerned individuals, seeks to foster, through support, education and advocacy, a community that is welcoming to all immigrants without regard to legal status.
